BEATLE JOHN LENNON's son JULIAN is planning a pop comeback eight years after his last studio album came out in 1998. The 42-year-old became disillusioned when record company executives deliberately released his PHOTOGRAPH SMILE disc on the same day his half-brother SEAN LENNON released an album. He hasn't unveiled any material since. But Julian now hopes to have a new record out by the end of the year (06). He says, "I've been having a great time these last few months collaborating with other musicians and friends. "If all goes according to plan, I'll be in the studio this spring, recording with my producer. (The work should be completed) either by year's end 2006 or first thing 2007."
